About the team and the role:

eBay is searching for a dynamic Executive Assistant to support our VP of Product Technology, eBay Motors! This is a strategic role directly partnering and supporting the VP, and has a strong focus on the goals of the leadership team to prioritize and improve efficiency for the organization. This person will be professional, discreet, approachable, upbeat, and a go-to person who is a positive reflection of both Executives and their teams. They will also interact with other members of eBay’s Core Product Leadership Team and their staff. This position requires the individual to exercise judgment and initiative, practice a high degree of flexibility, operate optimally in a fast paced environment and multi-task in order to get the job done.

What you will accomplish:

  • Calendar management for internal and external meetings–using insight, decision-making, and prioritization skills with regards to managing action items

  • Prepare and manage confidential material. Being privy to such critical information there is a need to maintain good practice with integrity and subtlety

  • Planning/project management skills to coordinate employee/client events

  • Manage and reconcile expense reports and purchase requisition submissions

  • Provide back-up support for additional members of the administrative team

  • Interact appropriately and strategically with senior executives within and outside the company, as well as customers, vendors and visitors

  • Resolve time critical issues with a high degree of precision and exhibit strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

  • Anticipate the needs of the executive’s team

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of executive administrative experience

  • Outstanding planning and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize, adhere to critical timelines and multi-task

  • Strong Technical skills: proficient in MS Office (including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) as well as Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)

  • Excellent communication skills: ability to prioritize, take direction, and work independently on projects.

  • Ability to learn new technology, processes, and change directions quickly

  • Effective in a constantly evolving environment

  • Desire and ability to positively influence the culture of the department and the company

  • Ability to flex working style across a wide variety of cross-functional leaders on the team (scientists, product managers, partners, etc)

  • Have a genuine interest in the business and want to understand how we function, why we function, who our clients are, and what our industry is about.

  • Ability to create and maintain effective relationships

  • Professionalism, attention to detail, and integrity

  • Extremely organized with exceptional follow through

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$56,800 - $117,150

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
