If you thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and are passionate about your role as a business support professional - we'd like to learn more about you. Azure Core Customer Platform Team is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant supporting our Vice President (VP).

As a Executive Assistant on the Azure Core Common Customer Platform and Technology team, you will manage a high and time sensitive workload, work independently, deal with ambiguity and support making managers and organizations great. . This opportunity will allow you to participate in the teams culture experience, work on a variety of v-teams and special projects, and have meaningful impact in the Azure Core PM and Design admin team, helping grow the team’s collective business maturity. This is a flexible work opportunity allowing a combination of working from home and from the Redmond office.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide strategic calendar and time planning support for managers, and will align calendar based on manager’s preferences and style. You’ll also build and leverage a cross-organizational network to enable team work.
  • You will participate in the Business Support community and begin to provide leadership, such as by seeking mentors. You’ll also facilitate team experience and onboarding activities.
  • You will own the coordination, logistics, and direction of events, delegating as necessary. You’ll also be able to balance multiple projects end to end with varying deadlines.
  • You will oversee inventory management, participate in discretionary budget tracking and reporting, and own expense management. You’ll also understand and help implement rhythm of business (ROB).
  • You will manage up-to-date space-management processes and team spaces, maintaining detailed data to recommend changes and identify future requirements. You’ll also manage travel arrangements and create detailed itineraries for daily activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.


Other Requirements:
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)
    • OR equivalent experiences
  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others
  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).
Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $27.40 - $46.49 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $37.84 - $52.98 per hour.
