Avera is currently seeking a highly motivated Executive Director – Revenue Cycle with experience in managing a remote team

Job Summary

The Executive Director – Revenue Cycle leads a team of revenue cycle directors/managers and serve as their primary liaison to Avera’s revenue cycle executive leadership. The Executive Director – Revenue Cycle strategically leverages the organizations distinct capabilities, identify and communicate emerging industry trends and lead the execution of broader revenue cycle changes across the system. The Executive Director maintains a familiarity with the responsibilities of Avera’s regional locations to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and understand the connection of workflows across revenue cycle. This individual will assume responsibility for achieving key performance metrics and meeting operating standards set by revenue cycle and executive leadership.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of revenue cycle experience required.
  • Experience and familiarity with managing a remote, decentralized team.
  • Experience with Epic preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • This position requires a valid driver’s license, and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health Automobile Liability Insurance carrier.
