Executive Director:

Description: The Vermont Republican Party is currently seeking applications for an Executive Director. The Executive Director will oversee all programs, oversee the financial health of the party, and fulfill other statutory requirements of the Vermont Republican Party. The Executive Director will report to the State Party Chair.

Core Responsibilities:

● Work closely with the Chair to manage political relationships in-state with Town and County Chairs

● Provide administrative support to the Chair and Secretary with internal record keeping

● Responsible for creation and implementation of the annual budget, in coordination with Chair and Finance Team

● Execute communications and messaging from the Chair. Includes management of social media and website.

● Implement strategy and processes of the Chair and leadership of the Party effectively and expediently;

● Serves as spokesperson as appropriate;

● Supports the creation, building, and growing of the county parties throughout the state;

● Partners with the fundraising staff, Chair, Officers, Finance Committee, and donors to create a robust apparatus for fundraising and cultivating large and small donors

● Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Experience:

● Must be or become a registered voter in Vermont

● Experience in at least one successful campaign, preferably in Vermont or the Northeast

● Willing to travel in-state, especially during election season

● Experience with social media, digital advertising

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
