Job Summary

To study and learn, under the immediate supervision of a licensed pharmacist, all phases of the practice of pharmacy. To perform all duties assigned by pharmacist preceptors. Reads, interprets and fills all physician/dietitian orders/prescriptions which include all oral, topical and injectable medications as well as nutrition, using an automated medication distribution system as well as a manual system. Performs a variety of technical duties under the general supervision of a pharmacist and certified pharmacy technician. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area.
