A day in the life…

• Participate in the long-term creative vision & editorial execution of the Fashion Office in line with JWN strategy, priorities, and goals.

• Research and compile reports on current and upcoming trends and color palettes across Women’s, Men’s, Specialized and Young Adult.

• Analyze industry data and customer insights to understand their impact on seasonal trends and product development.

• Build visually compelling presentations to communicate trend analysis.

• Connect seasonal trend and color forecasting to premarket preparation and validate it through runway and post market recaps.

• Develop strong relationships with our merchant partners by fostering communication and collaboration.

• Participate in editorial workflows by collaborating with sample and styling teams.

• Contribute to maintaining team processes and ensure smooth execution of daily tasks.

You own this if you have…

• 2-3 years of experience in trend research in fashion, or a related field.

• Bachelors degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Design, or a similar area (preferred).

• Strong interest in fashion trends across various platforms like runways and social media.

• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge in Adobe Suites – particularly InDesign and Photoshop to build and demonstrate ideas visually.

• Organized with strong time management skills and thrives in a fast-paced and complex environment.

• Eager to learn, collaborate effectively, and contribute to a positive team environment.

• Ability to develop strong relationships with our key merchant partners to better serve them.
