Field Installation Technician

The Field Installation Technician reports to the Operations Manager and is tasked with representing Diamond as a product expert and training dealers in the safe and efficient installation of Diamond products. This person needs to be able to conduct municipal installation training that provides all knowledge required to safely and efficiently complete installation of Diamond products. They would also need to be able to Communicate effectively with all customers and dealers and maintain relationships to provide excellent customer service.

Key Roles

• Represent Diamond at dealer locations as a product expert.
• Ensure lessons learned are shared and drive any required action to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to provide diagnostics and repairs as necessary.
• Resolve customer needs with a sense of urgency and ownership.
• Provide Tier 2 support to Customer Service.

Responsibilities

Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with DM coworkers, vendors and customers
• Physical job requirements for 8-hour shift
• Sedentary – sit or stand majority of shift
• Use computer, mouse and hands
• Analytical and decision-making skills
• Manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines
• Independent problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organization skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 75%
• Must be able to climb in and out of skid steer loaders and ag tractors

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of technical background with products, hands on experienced operator
• 1-3 years delivering technical training preferred
• Continuous knowledge development when not in a training setting
• Forklift Certification preferred
• Experience with MS Office is a plus
• Formal presentation skills preferred.

Location: Cherokee St

Hours: 8:00-5:00

Days of Shift: Monday-Friday
