Job Description

The Find Your Flex Group are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our partners whose company's Field Service Organization comprises dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional service to our customers. They are looking for a Field Service Specialist, who will be part of a global team committed to maintaining the high standards of service for our scientific instrumentation and software users across various industries.

We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused professional to join our renowned Field Service Organization in the Knoxville, TN Service Territory.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including training, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and assisting with parts management.
  • Perform repairs, installations, and calibration of instrument models and accessories.
  • Prepare reports and documentation of service and repair activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide information on service products and offerings, and effectively promote service contracts.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or related field required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience with scientific instrumentation installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Preference for previous experience with TA Instruments product suite (DSC, TGA, SDT, TMA, SA, DMA, DHR, HR, ARES, RSA).
  • Ability to perform effective system-level troubleshooting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Travel:

  • Clean driving license and valid passport required.
  • Territory-based position with travel within designated territory; occasional overnight travel may be required.
