Job description:
We are looking to hire a Field Services Technician to assist in the execution of maintenance work for our customers. We will train and invest in those who demonstrate a desire to learn and grow. As a Field Service Technician at HomeSmiles, you will be required to travel to client locations in the company van, perform maintenance responsibilities as a member of a 2 person team, ensure proper documentation of work being performed, respond to client requests, and help provide regular maintenance on company equipment.

To ensure success as a Home Services Technician, you should have above average troubleshooting skills, some field experience (but not required), and the ability to adapt to a changing work schedule. Ultimately, a Home Services Technician helps the Lead Home Services Tech efficiently manage all service callouts while providing high-quality service and maintenance to our clients for any job size.

Responsibilities:
  • Responding to customer callouts and field dispatches.
  • Conducting routine equipment servicing out in the field.
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment failures.
  • Installing and testing new equipment.
  • Providing preventive equipment maintenance.
  • Maintaining equipment stock in the company vehicle.
  • Completing job reports.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Good communication and training skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment, at times on ladders and roof tops.
  • Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule
  • Time management skills.
  • Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
Ability to problem-solve.
