Job Description

Field Service Engineer - Greater New York City Area, USA

We are excited to announce that Nanion Inc. USA is expanding! We’re looking to hire a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to support the increasing demand of Nanion products, and to provide premium customer service.

The candidate will be responsible for responding to technical calls including periodic maintenance, new installations and basic service/troubleshooting at customer sites, as well as, in the Nanion office/lab. The successful candidate must work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. They are required to have the basic understanding of electromechanical and technical troubleshooting skills, able to maintain a close professional relationship with customers and to be detail oriented. 

This position is located in Livingston, New Jersey,USA.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·        Work independently while performing installations, Preventative Maintenance, on-site service and troubleshooting.

·        Customer’s primary support and service contact for all incoming technical requests.

·        Document service performed by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records.

·        Track and insure that all service is performed within specific contractual SLA.

·        Assist other employees both in-house and in-field as needed.


Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electronics from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience.

·        Minimum of 1+ years of experience in electronic system installation/Preventative Maintenance/troubleshooting/or Service

·        English fluency in both speech and writing. The applicant should have excellent ability to work independently, document customer experience with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

·        You should be able to work in a multidisciplinary, multicultural and team-oriented environment.

·        Ability to frequently travel around the territory 50-80% of the time, with occasional travel outside the area, covering the Americas (NA and LATAM).


Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
