General Summary:
Responsible for all payment processing functions, collections, sales reporting and customer service duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Generate and email Invoices to customers
  • Resolve invoicing and customer payment issues
  • Apply payments to invoices, from several payment sources, with great accuracy
  • Review payments received from prior day to verify accuracy in previous day’s application
  • Determine tax liability on invoices and collect all required paperwork
  • Receive customer service calls/emails and respond in a professional and timely manner
  • Handle in-person customer service requests
  • Contact customers to notify them of unpaid invoices, help resolve and collect payment
  • Mitigate risk by reviewing high dollar and fraud related sales, keeping accurate records for review
  • Negotiate sales opportunities for unpaid items
  • Process refunds and keep accurate records for auditing purposes
  • Accurately reflect sales, for daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Review and approve all customer registrations for website
  • Maintain Petty Cash and report out Monthly
  • New Supplier Set-up in Accounting Software
  • Reconcile Merchant Accounts
  • Reconcile Incoming Buyer Cash Receipts
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/ Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • 2+ retail cash handling experience preferred
Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills; detail-orientated with ability to quickly switch between tasks
  • Microsoft Office skills required, including Excel skills; advanced skills preferred
  • Familiarity with Arizona Tax laws/paperwork requirements preferred

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Work Conditions:
Must be able to work in a sitting position for 8 hours per day
  • Some lifting (up to 20 pounds) may be required
