DIRECTV is seeking a seasoned FP&A Finance Manager to lead the financial planning and analysis function and collaborate amongst business units providing strategic and operational financial support for decision making across the organization. This role will oversee the preparation of forecasts, budgets, metrics reporting, and financial modeling to provide business insights and drive growth. In this role, you will perform variance analysis in many planning cycles, generate and interpret financial reporting, perform financial analysis of internal business/financial performance, modeling to assess financial implications of business initiatives, and provide actionable financial/business insights.

Here's what you’ll do:

• Work on problems of diverse scope including the analysis of financial reports, trends, and opportunities.
• Support the Marketing team to develop revenue targets, opportunities, and insights.
• Own the financial planning and forecasting processes, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range operating plans.
• Prepare regular financial reporting materials and management presentations for executives.
• Develop financial models and conduct analysis to provide business insights and support strategy decisions.
• Partner with business leaders on financial assessments of new initiatives, expansion plans, and optimization efforts.
• Monitor and analyze current performance vs. plans, call out trends, risks and opportunities.
• Identify process improvement initiatives to drive finance team efficiency.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
• 5+ years of FP&A, finance, or accounting experience.
• Understanding of forecasting, accounting, key financial metrics, analyses of financial statements, budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting, capital allocations, and financial data warehouses.
• Advanced analytics skills are preferred.
• Support complex and manual multi-system data extracts, analysis, and reconciliation utilizing advanced Excel functions (Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.), and other financial analysis tools.
• CPA or CFA Certifications preferred.
• Expert knowledge of FP&A best practices.
• Strong financial modeling, data analysis and accounting skills.
• Advanced skillset with Excel, financial systems and data visualization tools.
• Leadership experience with ability to influence stakeholders and lead teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
• Strategic thinking and business partnership skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $87,400 - $158,700

Low (N1): $87,400 - $131,100

Mid (N2): $92,000 - $138,000

High (N3): $101,200 - $151,800

Top (N4): $105,800 - $158,700
