Volt is immediately hiring for a Flux Operator in Sparks, NV

As a Flux Operator you will:

• Composes and affixes product labels to products
• Operates forklift, hand truck and pallet jack for the safe loading of flux components into mixer(s) and the safe placement and maneuvering of products within the flux farm area and/or other areas of the main warehouse for shipment.
• Ventilation System Operation: Utilizes ventilation system for loading and dispensing of product from flux mixers. Operates compressor for daily blow-down and periodic dumping of particulate collected in the bag house for recirculation into the flux manufacturing circuit.
• Mixer Loading and Mixing Operation, as per batch sheet instructions.
• Prepares packaging.
• Mixer unloading - dispensing.
• Palletize and Inventory
• General Warehousing Tasks
• Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.
• Performs other related tasks that his/her supervisor deems necessary for the efficient operation of the department.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2 Years of Forklift experience
• Security Awareness Training

Shift Timing: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
Location: 738 SPICE ISLANDS DR SPARKS, Nevada 89431
Duration: 04 months (possibility of extension)

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
