We are currently hiring a full time Service Coordinator in our Financial Management Services (FMS) Department. The qualified candidate will be processing participant (client) intakes, revisions, renewals, and all correspondence throughout the participant’s service plan year. Participant Directed Services allows participants flexibility in planning, directing and maintaining responsibility for their waivered services. Alliance has a shared-employer relationship with the participants and is hired to maintain all budgetary functions including billing the state for their services. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. This is a remote position, with the possibility of periodic days/projects needed in our Corporate office located in Eagan, MN. Candidates must be located within driving distance to our Eagan office, as provided computer/equipment will need to be obtained from there.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with family, Participant, Support Planners (if applicable), and county workers to establish a base of support for the Participant’s services to begin.
· Prepare, receive, coordinate all related service paperwork for family, Participant, staff in coordination with appropriate Alliance departments and county representatives.
· Set up Participant's budget according to approved Consumer Support Plan (CSP).
· Ensure that budget complies with service agreement authorizations.
· Correspond between participant, family, county, vendors, and other related parties.
· Process all budget revisions in accordance with family and participant wishes and county approvals.
· Monitor budgets and notify Participant, family, and county of any concerns regarding the budget.
· Participate in appropriate professional networking within counties/state.
· Remain informed about changes in fields relevant to program operations.
· Assurance that participant's rights are observed.
· Maintain confidentiality of participant and employee records/information.
