In this role you will carry out various responsibilities in programs such as St. Joseph Diner, FoodNet Food Bank, and the St. Joseph Diner Mobiles. Summary

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Deliver meals and non-perishable food bags to various sites across Acadiana using company owned vehicles.
• Properly heat up frozen trays of food and store them.
• Ensures proper meal quantities, beverages, utensils, etc., are packed for delivery and maintain the proper temperature.
• Record delivery reports and logs temperature.
• Assist with making FoodNet bags for distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience - Must be 21 years old or older, have a valid driver's license and an appropriate driving record.

The ideal candidate is expected to:

• Be detail oriented, organized with proven ability to successfully multi-task.
• Willingness and ability to load and unload a vehicle and be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Be prompt and on time for every shift.
• Be flexible, personable, and open to work with a team and willing to do whatever it takes to get the task done.
• Be willing to work any day of the week. This job's schedule will require weekends and some holidays.

Schedule
