Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Clerk. As a Food Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the restaurant or retail industry who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting food items
- Take customer orders and process payments using the Aloha POS system
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining area
- Upsell additional food items or specials to customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product expiration dates
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, retail, or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing and cash handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.20 per hour
