Position Function
Under supervision, perform a variety of tasks required in the preparation and serving of food.
Minimum Education
1.High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required for cashiers, cashier/checkers. All other Food Service Worker positions require successful completion of the eighth grade.
Minimum Experience
1.Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and University policies, procedures and communications.
2.No allergies to soaps, cleaning agents, oven cleaners, or other materials or environmental factors in food service, e.g., steam, dust, etc.
3.Must have clean body, teeth, hair, nails, and clothing.
4.Must be able to perform all physical and mental requirements outlined in each job duty/responsibility.
5.You must be 18 years or older.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Experience
1.Experience in a school cafeteria, hospital cafeteria, or similar experience in quantity food preparation and/or service.
Pre-Employment Screening
Requires successful completion of a background check.
