Overview:
The purpose of this job is to comply with all investors, guarantor, and PMI guidelines and to assist customer, default staff and/or legal staff with avoidance of foreclosure completion in effort to minimize delinquency, foreclosure, and excessive loss to servicer.
Responsibilities:
- Email correspondence with legal staff and document accounts accordingly
- Secure appraisals and payoff information; secure bidding instructions from guarantors and PMI companies
- Miscellaneous telephone activity with borrowers and legal staff
- Preparing foreclosure request and documents for approval
- Properly documenting the system of record
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Education or GED
- Administrative or Operational Support experience
- General Knowledge of lending, servicing, and/or collection process.
- Working knowledge of accounting, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word and 10 key calculator.
- Must be able to function without supervision, be well organized, flexible, able to interact with diverse personalities in department, and handle customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with legal staff via email, written documentation and via telephone
- Collection/Foreclosure/Loss Mitigation experience preferred
- Experience with investor, guarantor, and PMI guidelines preferred
