Forklift Material Handler

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Shift: 1st - 6:00am - 4:45pm M-F, Some Saturday work, Overtime Available
PAY: $19.00 - $22.00 Based on Experience

As a Material Handler, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and movement of products, ensuring warehouse targets are met. You will play a key role in inventory control, contributing to a smooth supply chain operation. This position reports to the Inventory Manager and collaborates with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock items, ensuring correct labeling and rotation.
  • Pull parts for transfers, manufacturing, and sales, documenting transactions accurately.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and maintain complete inventory records.
  • Safely operate machinery, reporting maintenance needs to supervisors.
  • Load/unload shipments, verifying packing lists, and maintain an organized warehouse.
  • Assist in mentoring and training other warehouse personnel.
  • Collaborate with departments like Sales, QA, and Shipping, ensuring smooth processes.
  • Safeguard warehouse from unauthorized personnel and report incidents of theft or loss.
  • Help prioritize and package shipments to meet same-day shipping goals.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams); Oracle knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with experience in inventory management.
  • Forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down) and ability to achieve certification.
  • Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment and follow safety guidelines.
