Responsible for the internal and external strategic communications solutions for the Foundation.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and executes effective communication and creative solutions for Foundation brand engagement, fund development and event marketing.
  • Defines and maintains the Foundation brand identity by monitoring for consistency across Foundation communications and marketing materials.
  • Serves as Webmaster for the Foundation – manages content creation/updates, liaises with the Blackbaud web designer, troubleshoots technical issues.
  • Executes in-house publishing projects such as the design and production of flyers, print advertising, direct mail postcards, display graphics, etc. in accordance with brand and hospital graphic standards.
  • Executes communication with donors, event attendees and volunteers (emails, flyers, Northside Life, press releases, etc.).
  • Serves as liaison between the Foundation and marketing department for all Foundation graphic, communication and other marketing related needs.
  • Liaises with marketing department to maximize Foundation mentions across Northside channels, including the development and implementation of a Foundation social strategy.
  • Develops and presents trainings about the Foundation in order to foster relationships with possible advocates and key persons within Northside and our community.
  • Assists with the advertisement for volunteer programs and events as well as all Foundation events and programs throughout the year. Attends events as needed.
REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of one to two (1-2) years' relevant experience.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Experience in website management and design.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite. 6. Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
  • Requires ability to problem-solve, anticipate potential issues, multi- task, handle logistics and follow-through on multiple simultaneous programs.
  • Requires the ability to be flexible and able to plan and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient command of English.
  • BS/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field.
PREFERRED:
  • Experience in a hospital marketing and/or public relations department preferred.
