Bookkeeper Accountant

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, the Bookkeeper Accountant is responsible for managing the daily operations of the finance department and providing support for planning and analysis. This position is responsible for preparing reports for managers and developing standards and processes for proper financial management of the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

  • ·Establish, develops, and maintain an efficient accounting operation to effectively support LumenFocus and PathogenFocus. Promptly process customer orders & billings and vendor purchase orders & payments.
  • Manage payables and cash disbursements, manage cash receipts.
  • Ensure accurate processing of all inventory related transactions. Ensure accurate reporting of inventory usage. Work with local management to establish inventory control policies
  • Manage full general ledger. Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules. Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable GAAP.
  • Ensure prompt filing of state taxes (sales, use, franchise, gross receipts) and support external CPA firm to prepare income taxes.
  • Oversee annual financial audit, including physical inventory counts. Prepare audit schedules as required.
  • Oversee budget reports, preparation of budgets, and analysis of budgets.
  • Support management reporting and profitability by customer. Assist with developing quarterly forecasts and annual operating budgets. Prepare reporting of variances to plan/forecasts.
  • Perform the administrative role for the ERP system Odoo including user support; develop reports, searches, and dashboards to meet business needs; maintain all users roles and permissions.
  • Manage Expensify Expense reporting system including user set up and support, monthly expense report processing and reporting.
  • Manage sales commission reporting for the internal sales organization and external rep agencies.
  • Other items / duties to jointly be developed when the need arises.
  • Adhere to all of customer’s policies and procedures, including their safety protocols, employee conduct, confidentiality requirements, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
