Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation and repair of garage doors, showcasing expertise in various maintenance person skills. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Install and repair garage doors and related hardware, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Perform fixture installation, including door hanging and glass installation.
• Execute trim carpentry tasks as needed to ensure seamless integration with existing structures.
• Conduct drywall repairs and metal stud framing when necessary.
• Handle heavy lifting and maneuvering of garage door components with care.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and project timelines.

Experience

• Proven experience in maintenance person services or related fields such as carpentry or construction.
• Familiarity with fixture installation, drywall work, metal stud framing, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
