Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. As a Gas Station Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our gas station, providing excellent service to our customers, and driving sales through upselling and product demos.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and responding to their needs in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately handling cash, credit card transactions, and operating a cash register.
- Stock shelves and maintain the cleanliness of the store, including the parking lot and exterior areas.
- Perform product demos and promotions to increase sales and engage customers.
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services to customers, achieving sales targets.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities, including counting and reconciling cash and operating a cash register.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of store products and services, including their features and benefits.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues with the store's inventory.
- Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the store.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Experience:

- Previous experience in retail sales, grocery store sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Experience in supervising or leading a team is an asset.
- A strong understanding of retail math and the ability to accurately handle cash and credit transactions is essential.
- Familiarity with product demos and upselling techniques is a plus.
