Seeking a General Manager to join our team!  New, high volume college bar in Starkville MS is looking to hire a seasoned, professional GM to control all aspects of our business.  All candidates need to possess a minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the management of a bar, and be focused on driving an excellent customer experience while building a solid workplace for employees. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all ordering activities of both alcohol and food.
• Be responsible for the overall profitability of the establishment, identifying potential improvements to drive the bottom line.
• Hire and supervise a strong team of associates in both bar and restaurant services.
• Oversee guest services and resolve issues with patrons.
• Ability to hire D.J., book bands and screen and source local talent for events/concerts.
• Create schedules for associates, setting rules and expectations for team, while handling all hiring and firing of staff.
• Adhere to all alcohol A.B.C. laws and regulations as well as safety and sanitation regulations around food prep.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in bar service and food service with minimum of 5 years in leadership position. 
• Must have thorough knowledge of TOAST P.O.S. system.
• Strong ethical focus.
• Ability to lead and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
