Job Description

What will I be doing?

This position plays a key part in the RFP Strategy and Operations (RFP S&O) team. This position directly supports the request for proposal (RFP), where the primary focus is to research and gather data elements associated with Cigna provider networks and prospective clients. This information is used to complete GeoAccess requests, answer RFP/RFI questions and adhoc requests. This role collaborates with a team, and performs work independently, all while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and managing multiple deadlines.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Utilize the Quest Analytics software to produce requested GeoAccess reports, provider listings, radius reports, and maps to analyze employees' accessibility to Cigna's providers (Primary Care Providers, Specialists, Hospitals, etc.).
  • Gather information from databases, reports, and subject matter experts to support the presale and renewal sales process. Query, analyze, and format data using Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Communicate with Sales, RFP S&O peers, and other internal partners to ensure that RFP responses and/or charts/reports meet the broker and client needs and present Cigna appropriately.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the department, offering alternatives and suggestions on network products.
  • Actively participate in strategy conference calls.
  • Manage incoming work, reviewing requests for completeness and accuracy.
  • Work with high level of integrity and quality.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement projects and department priorities within PM.

Qualifications

What qualifications do I need to have?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and proactively with internal and external partners
  • Ability to quickly understand the Clients’ needs and expectations
  • Quick learner, able to assimilate information in a fast past deadline driven environment
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer/Chrome
  • Experience with Quest Analytics software a plus, but not required

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 22 - 34 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
