Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for various tasks related to construction, painting, fabrication, and assembly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and possess excellent maintenance person skills. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: - Perform construction painting, including surface preparation, priming, and applying paint or other finishes - Fabricate and assemble various components according to blueprints or specifications - Conduct caulking and sealing activities to ensure proper insulation and protection - Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements - Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks - Assist with metal stud framing and door hanging as needed - Conduct general maintenance person duties such as repairing fixtures, installing shelves, or fixing minor electrical or plumbing issues Qualifications: - Proven experience in construction painting, fabrication, caulking, blueprint reading, metal stud framing, door hanging, and general maintenance person tasks - Strong carpentry skills with the ability to use hand tools effectively - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship - Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
