Job Description Summary:

The Director of Digital Communications is responsible for creating and executing global social media and digital strategy for The Coca-Cola Company owned channels. Cross functional collaboration is critical, and the ideal candidate is an innovative digital storyteller who knows how to activate multi-platform communications strategies and create world class content driving cultural relevance  

 

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

What You’ll Do for Us  

  • Lead content strategy across the company’s owned digital and social channels for always-on campaigns and key business announcements. 

  • Lead digital transformation strategy across owned channels and deliver tactics for reaching existing and new audiences, prioritizing corporate reputation.  

  • Maintain an ongoing pulse on digital conversation, trends, memes and themes across the industry and tracking the company on social platforms to nimbly lean in from the company’s social handles where relevant and aligned with business strategy. 

  • Own and update content strategy and editorial calendar for global, working closely with brand and regional teams for input.  

  • Collaborate with and manage internal and external agency partners including OpenX, part of WPP.  

  • Triage and analyze proactive and reactive real time content, experienced and can confidently navigate digital crisis  

  • Act as digital and social subject matter expert and provide guidance across the business on the role of our owned channels.  

  • Cultivate internal network across digital communicators from our global Operating Units to scale our digital work and best practices globally.  

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Track record and experience managing digital content strategy for multi brand company at scale. 

  • Experience with creating brand identify for social channels.  

  • Experience with influencers and multi-platform content production.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing or related field.  

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in production, social media, PR, in-house or agency. 

  • Experience launching multiple product campaigns simultaneously.  

  • Technology, creator, corporate brand experience preferred.  

  • Top skillsets needed: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of industry trends and cutting-edge communications strategies to reach audiences through earned, owned and executive channels.  

Position Details:

Hybrid work schedule - 3 days per week in person and 2 days virtual

Individual contributor role - no direct reports

Pay Range:

$150,200 - $173,300

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
