Job Summary:

The Guest Relations Specialist at The Racquet Lounge at Southampton plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of The Racquet Lounge. This role is responsible for leading the team with a focus on exceptional hospitality, supporting company objectives.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Nurture positive and productive working relationships.
  • Be an exemplary leader by being a self starter and setting the expectations.
  • Self manage timelines to achieve goals and fulfill necessary tasks.
  • Problem solve and address any issues in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Serves as a leader in displaying outstanding hospitality skills.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Be a creative logical thinker with a focus on creating the optimal outcome.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises employees.

Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence, maintaining a high standard of service levels.

Maintains high visibility in public areas during peak times.

Supports handling complaints and resolving grievances or conflicts.

Implementation of the member experience program, communicating and ensuring the process.

Performs Front Desk duties.

Assists Tennis Professionals if and when needed.

Ensuring all courts are booked in the online booking system for sessions and matches.

Maintains a strong working relationship with all departments to support property operations and goals.

MEMBER AND GUEST RELATIONS

Retain existing members by offering excellent customer service and high level hospitality.

Maintain accurate membership records and databases.

Address member concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the club.

Build and maintain strong relationships with members.

Support Club Operations Manager with maintaining and maximizing reservations while maintaining service

Empowers employees to provide excellent service levels.

EVENT PLANNING

Support and promote tournaments, social events, and other member activities.

Collaborate with tennis professionals to plan clinics, lessons, and special events.

Work closely with the club's management to align on goals and strategies.

Collaborate with local tennis organizations and businesses to enhance the club's reputation and partnerships

COMPLIANCE AND REGULATIONS

Ensure the club complies with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
