General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision and using appropriate current technology, performs a range of difficult, responsible, and complex clerical work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Word processes/types from rough draft, plain copy or dictation.
2. Prepares forms, record cards, and reports.
3. Composes routine correspondence
4. Maintains alphabetical, numerical, and subject matter files.
5. Answers the telephone and provides information.
6. Compiles information for statistical analysis.
7. Has substantial contact with the public.
8. May be responsible for a small number of requisitions.
9. Performs related duties of a similar nature as requested by supervisor, which are commensurate with job classification.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Basic computer skills including word processing and email
- Successfully completed appropriate course work
- Good communication skills
