Host/Hostess Job Description

• Greet all guests with a warm smile.
• Your body language must always remain professional.
• Seat guests according to the seating procedures.
• Use provided software for seating.
• Deliver menus to guests according to the seating procedures.
• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Execute all procedures regarding take-out orders.
• Maintain host stand in impeccable order and cleanliness.
• Communicate all guest requests to servers and supervisors.
• Always say “thank you for coming” to exiting customers. Stop what you are doing and address them fully on their way out.
• Must be able operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
