Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Host/Host to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience and providing exceptional hospitality to every guest that enters our restaurant or hotel. Duties:

- Greet guests as they arrive and bid them farewell as they leave
- Manage the flow of guests, ensuring they are seated promptly and efficiently
- Take reservations and handle guest inquiries with a smile
- Handle phone calls and messages with excellent phone etiquette
- Utilize Aloha POS to manage orders and payments
- Provide excellent guest services, including ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant or hotel
- Assist with any special requests or needs from guests
- Help with tasks such as setting tables, pouring water, and taking orders

Experience:

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is highly desirable
- Previous experience as a host/host or in a customer-facing role is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift light objects
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with Aloha POS and a willingness to learn
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and hospitality

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
