We are seeking a friendly and organized & professional Host/Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your hospitality skills will shine as you manage reservations, greet guests, and facilitate smooth seating arrangements. Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with an inviting atmosphere.
- Manage the seating chart efficiently to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist with reservations and walk-in guests, maintaining an organized waitlist when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Provide information about menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and seating arrangements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred, especially in restaurant or food service settings.
- Min 5 Years Experience Required
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic knowledge of guest services principles and practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
