Job Summary:
To uphold the CFP philosophy and values of care; to assist the Program Director in the daily operation of the site; to provide supervision to direct care staff; and to provide orientation for new clients (regarding tasks such as: the routines, limits, anchor points, and house rules in conjunction with the house staff).
Job Responsibilities:
- To provide a safe and nurturing home-like environment.
- To assign the appropriate level of responsibilities and/or tasks to each client and Direct Care Counselor.
- To develop and monitor activities that meet the educational, recreational, physical and emotional needs of each client.
- To prepare regular reports of each client’s progress.
- To keep close contact with the client’s families and monitor all family contact.
- To provide consistent supervision to house staff.
- To provide weekly written records to the program office including; logs, incident reports, menus, budget materials, home visit records, staff time sheets.
- To provide orientation and on site training for staff members
- To create and submit weekly staff schedules to the appropriate administrative staff.
- To represent the program to visitors and outside agencies.
- To maintain & monitor agency standards for the physical site and to ensure that staff are familiar with the standards.
- To provide weekly written records to the program office including; logs, incident reports, menus, budget materials, home visit records, staff time sheets.
- Provide emergency on-call to site
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and transportation required.
- Prefer BS/BA in human services or related field and one year prior experience working with either children, youth or residential care OR High School Graduate with two years residential experience working with children and adolescents.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
