Job Description

Real Estate company seeking a temporary HR Business Partner to work in their corporate office. Contract through Spring 2025 with potential to extend. 

The scope of the position will heavily involve 1) Employee Relations and 2) Career Development, Benefits, and Data Management

  • The ideal candidate will have experience supporting employee populations across different sites/locations. 
  • Pay $40-50/hr
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • The role is Mon-Fri in office in Hudson Yards, with potential to have 1-2 days remote down the line. 

The HRBP will have primary responsibility in managing through employee relations matters and performance management for approximately 600+ employees including the support teams. In addition, you’ll ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Development and retention of the employee population will be very important in this role. The HRBP will work to execute and advance the company's people strategy, supporting the company’s business priorities, while reducing employee turnover and improving productivity. This role will be based in our New York office and will report into the HR Director.
 

You’ll need to have:

·       At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, particularly in employee relations

·       Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent work experience

·       Demonstrated experience working with geographically dispersed field-based teams

·       Union knowledge preferred, experience participating in grievance and arbitration hearings, and feel comfortable with union processes and procedures from a HR perspective

·       Familiarity with state-specific laws on payroll, leave, wages, and hours.
