The Role:

The Global Manufacturing HR team is seeking a highly motivated change agent to join our team supporting our talent in the North America Manufacturing Organization. As a member of this team, you will partner with the HR Business partners and HR Manager in day-to-day HR activities and support in streamlining our partnership with the business and working to increase our effectiveness. You will lead assigned business functions in day-to-day HR activities and provide direction and leadership that aligns and supports our objectives, mission and culture. You will work strategically with assigned functional business leaders to improve working relationships, build engagement, and attract and retain talent, including collaborating with COEs relative to strategic workforce planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically work with assigned function's executive management and HR leadership team, to improve working relationships, build engagement, attract and retain talent.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, provide direction on business function's restructures, specific transformation efforts, job design and workforce/organizational planning.
  • Maintain a strong culture and work climate that attracts and motivates staff while driving the HR function's mission.
  • Create a high touch/personal HR experience by supporting employees with questions, concerns, and general engagement.
  • Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulations and provide guidance when appropriate.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the HR Policy consultant and legal department as needed/required.
  • Work closely with employees and managers to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Facilitate and execute Talent Management and Development matters providing data and support on implementation of actions
  • Provide talent and performance management guidance to leaders (i.e. coaching, consulting, corrective actions, and crisis relations)
  • Partner with Policy & Investigation COE to support complex employee relations issues and investigations.
  • Support onboarding in conjunction with People Leaders and Onboarding Buddies
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition data and develop recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Identify individual leadership coaching needs and perform necessary coaching to employees.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and consult with people leaders on individual employee compensation matters to ensure alignment to pay for performance and employee recognition programs
  • Identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement and partner with COEs to build effective working relationships and provide constructive field perspective to influence common processes and procedures
  • Support, as consultant, programs that contribute to the work environment and or development, such as WoC, DEI, development programs, recognition, etc.

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Must be proficient in use of HR systems (Workday, Workforce360, Cognos)
  • Excellent computer skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Acting with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills in facilitation, partnership and conflict resolution
  • Managerial courage demonstrated through effective, direct, and respectful communication
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information is maintained
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and work to plan
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren three times per week, at minimum.
