Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon via Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Amazon.


Designs and administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas. Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management. Oversees and establishes procedures for paperwork completion for functional area. Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Responsibilities:

  • Will be partnering with the directors of the business units
  • Performance management and employee relations, escalations, provide policy updates, annual org leadership review
  • Over 10,000 people globally
  • 70% outside North America, 30% inside North America
  • Customer service, Operations, Language teams

- AWS services- Call, chat, live chat


Preferred :

5-7 years of HR experience

BA degree required

Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel- need to know pivot tables and graphs, data analytics

Previous HR exp. In a tech or people ops role may be helpful in this role

HR experience within a large company, especially with assisting at the director level


Location: Arlington, VA

Contract Length: 6 Months

Pay Range: $35 - $38 per hour
