The Human Resources Generalist I provides a broad range of administrative and technical support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and confidentiality of employee and departmental information. This position will perform administrative duties, including pay & benefits administration, tracking & summarizing data, creating various reports and spreadsheets, and assisting in the coordination and implementation of key projects and organizational initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist in payroll administration by ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness with respect to processing all payroll actions.

Assist in benefits administration by ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness with respect to processing all benefits elections.

Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of training and professional development programs, wellness programs, and other HR initiatives.

Maintain confidential personnel records to include filing of physical documents in personnel files.

Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases and generate reports as needed.

Prepare companywide correspondence.

Coordinate engagement activities and special acknowledgements and assists in the coordination of rewards/recognition programs.

Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Manage project administration for special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and two years’ experience in a human resources role.

Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.

Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external partners.

Ability to focus on multiple tasks and project simultaneously
