Position: Human Resources Manager (Regional Manufacturing Operations)
Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is recruiting for a Human Resources Manager for our client's multi-site manufacturing operations. This role will play a crucial role in implementing HR strategies / policies that align with business objectives and strategically partnering with business unit leadership to provide timely guidance regarding human resource matters. This is a regional support role, and the successful candidate will be required to travel to various sites within the Eastern region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct HR support to an assigned region - 50% travel.
- Partner with local HR resources to optimize recruiting & retention for hourly talent.
- Mentor and onboard local HR resources.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Assist in employee relations issues, including investigations, discipline and grievances.
- Determine root causes of turnover by conducting interviews, and developing plans to reduce turnover.
- Assist with training in the region and support program and policy rollouts.
- Temporarily backfill local HR resources as needed.
- Work closely and collaboratively with Operations and Regional teams.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state & local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 5 or more years HR Business Partner, Generalist, or HR Manager experience.
- 2 or more years of experience in either a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% via car and air when required.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Union Experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
