Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Department: Human Resources

Location: Consolidation Center

FLSA Status: Salary Non-Exempt

Reports to: Human Resources Assistant Manager and HOD

Job Summary: The HR Specialist assists the HR Assistant Manager in managing the daily activities of the Human Resources Department.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of new retention strategies.
  • Assist with HR GAL Reporting with Headquarters.
  • Assist with improvement of company policies.
  • Maintain the upkeep of GAL's Organization Chart.
  • Assist with recruiting exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Assist with employee on-boarding.
  • Assist with processing invoices for HR required services.
  • Assist with posting vacant positions to internal and external job boards.
  • Assist with ensuring accuracy of department exempt/non-exempt job descriptions.
  • Assist with Korean Interns' VISA process.
  • Assist with data entry into ADP for new hires.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years experience as Human Resources Generalist

Equipment:

  • Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ensure compliance with and follow all OSHA and GAL safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure that all care is provided with respect to customer, client and co-workers' rights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
