## Overview

We are seeking a booster pump (bomba de relevo) operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and industrial equipment.

Employees will be working in the Carraizo Reservoir dredging project. Job consists of 8 hour shifts, 6 days per week. Overtime paid at time and a half (x1.5).

Employees will be paid weekly.

## Duties

- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks

- Diagnose mechanical issues and repair diesel engines, brake systems, and tires

- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts

- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

- Communicate when parts become worn and require replacement.

## Qualifications

-Means of Transportation

-Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs

-Drug test (DOT/NIDA)

- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role

- Knowledge of tractor-trailers, forklifts, and other industrial equipment

- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues effectively

- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program

- Completion of Department of State technical course is a plus (Curso técnico del Departamento de Estado)

- Police Record (Certificado antecedentes penales)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week

• Day shift
• Night shift
