Starting Salary: $54,000 - 85,000/annual

Position Summary Description:
The Info Central Assistant Manager position is responsible for supporting the Info Central Manager with initiatives aligned to the business objectives across the organization. The Info Central Assistant Manager will also be responsible for working closely with the Leads in the department who oversee the Sales Support Coordinators (SSC). This role collaborates with numerous departments including Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure the highest level of service is provided to our Customers. A successful Info Central Manager is able to support all levels of the team and assist with things such as solving problems, making decisions, process improvement, training and developing team members, and ensuring that the team always has our Customers’ best interests as a top priority.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides direction and assistance to the Leads to support the SSCs with Customer resolution of issues and questions.
  • Provides day-to-day leadership direction to the Info Central Team including proactive guidance, on the job training, troubleshooting support, and issue escalation.
  • Able to perform the full range of customer service duties by receiving and accurately processing orders via electronic transmission, telephone or fax, and fulfillment of customer needs to ensure Excellent Foodservice Beyond Expectation.
  • Assists the Info Central Manager with daily communication and operational activities.
  • Monitors Customer Service performance to ensure we are meeting and exceeding metrics and expectations. Analyzes data and processes to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure our Customers receive the best service and solutions we can offer. Builds partnerships with other departments to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Mentoring new employees, and responsible for enforcing training and developing the Leads to develop the SSCs.
  • Understanding of operational activities and ability to work cohesively with internal support departments.
  • Proficiency in the use of all company proprietary software (i.e., Dynamics 365, HataSell, HataNet, etc.).
  • Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • Ensures all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Performs similar and related duties as assigned by Executive Director.
  • Use the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has supervisory responsibilities of the Info Central Team (15-20 team members).
Education/Training and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Work experience may be substituted for education.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a corporate and team environment.
  • 1+ years of work experience managing people required.
  • Preferable experience in one or multiple areas: Food Service experience, Customer service, hospitality, team building, or sales.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
