Inside Sales Specialist

Location: Hudson, WI or New Albany, MS

Employment Type: Full Time


Summary:

In this role, you will provide day-to-day management of RSG brand (Nor-Lake and Master-Bilt) orders, pricing, credits, and return processes through analytical and operational support and communication. You will provide a professional level of support to the regional field sales staff and customers by possessing a broad knowledge of products and policies. This role facilitates company goals in the areas of customer satisfaction through BIC Customer Experience during all stages of the sales process, ensuring quality, and accuracy while increasing sales revenue and reducing returns and adjustments. This role is critical to building and maintaining customer relationships to increase and sustain RSG’s overall competitive advantage.


Examples of Duties:

  • Provide sales support to our outside Sales network including RSMs, Reps, Dealers, and Chains
  • Process specific orders and understand the process flow
  • Understands customer requirements and assists in selecting appropriate products and specifications
  • Ensures good communication both externally and internally
  • Work closely with Technical Services in troubleshooting problems that are sales and technically related
  • Assist with customer with freight damage and initial aftermarket care, processing RMA & ADJ
  • May assist with refurbishment, quotations, installation bid requests
  • Informs manager of customer problems and/or company liability issues
  • Assist in resolving sales or escalated customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives
  • Provide status of ongoing sales projects and future sales projects to Sales Manager to assist in forecasting, along with escalating potential new business opportunities
  • Identify company needs and technological opportunities to promote future growth
  • Maintains a clean, safe, organized work area


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Beginning knowledge of customer service standards expected in business-to-business relationships
  • Beginning knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes as related to customer service issues
  • Beginning skill in resolving problems under stress and time pressure, and conflict
  • Ability to learn a complex product line and understand company systems and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills
  • A genuine desire to provide excellent customer experience
  • Available for travel up to 10%
  • Other projects & duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Business or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry role
  • Experience – 5 Years in Inside Sales or Customer Care
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; Epicor preferred
