Our Williston office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintain knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have.

Salary: $30000.00 - $45000.00 per year

Part time remote option after initial time frame

• Greet all customers in a friendly and helpful manner
• Answer incoming phone calls on first ring and return all phone messages promptly
• Process customer payments, cancellation requests, sales requests within specified time frame
• Complete Evidence of Insurance requests
• Become proficient in e-Agent and other office/company software
• Explain referral program and ask each customer for possible referrals
• Maintain inventory of office supplies, forms, brochures, placing orders weekly
• Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers

• Must obtain VT Property and Casualty license in first 45 days of employment with employers help
• Excellent customer service skills
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and coach-able
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude while being a team player
• Proficiency to multi-task with ability to follow-up with attention to detail
• Possess excellent communication/interpersonal, spelling and grammar skills
• Responds to all inquiries, cancellation and sales requests within specified time-frame
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel mandatory

Our Allstate Agency is a family-owned business in Williston, VT. John Coburn, opened the agency 40 years ago and in 2006, I (Michael) moved back to Vermont from California to work along side him. In 2014 I purchased the agency from my father so he could enjoy a well-deserved retirement after all his years of hard work. I am proud to keep his legacy going of providing service-oriented business to help people in Vermont with their insurance and financial needs as a local trusted advisor.
