Salesforce Financial Services is looking for a strong Insurance Solutions Specialist to help drive purpose built Solution selling at scale across our Financial Services organization. This individual needs to be passionate about identifying current and emerging problems in the Industry and inspiring a cross-functional, matrixed organization to create engaging sales conversations and value propositions.

The role requires an Insurance Industry thought leader with experience solving critical business problems, identifying new and emerging Industry trends, engaging with various Customer Executives across the Business and IT organizations, and inspiring cross functional teams to work together to achieve Customer and Sales goals. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction and partnership with various leaders across Financial Services such as Sales, Solutions, Product Management, and Product Marketing organizations. Key organizational alignment and support includes, but is not limited to:

  • Bring Insurance Experience to Customer Conversations: Be an Insurance Solution Specialist and Ambassador with our Sales teams to structure relevant and credible Industry Solution conversations with our Customers.
  • Collaboration to Support Insurance Go To Market Selling Motions: Align with Sales, Solutions, Go to Market, Product, and Marketing to support sales priorities and new product launches. Support critical content and conversation development to enable the Field and strong Customer conversations.
  • Insurance Marketing Awareness and Support: Be an Industry thought leader by creating content and marketing, supporting events and webinars, and staffing events with strong points of view, customer stories, and demos.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Customers, Industry Advisory groups, and Sales to align on current market problems and trends
  • Create and drive Insurance Industry collaboration across the matrix-ed organization to prioritize and create the urgent and pervasive Industry solutions needed by Sales for the Market
  • Synthesize the Insurance Industry relevant Solutions into Content needed by Customers and the Field such as marketing materials and white papers, Customer presentations and demos, and Implementation partners and strategies
  • Design credible and engaging Insurance Industry Sales & Solution Conversations to connect with Customers through pipe generation activities and Solution selling motions
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales Programs, and Enablement to create an integrated Go To Market launch motion internally & externally for market impact
  • Create a selling feedback & innovation loop by curating and sharing customer win / loss analysis and success stories to drive new opportunities as well as future product enhancements


Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of current & emerging Insurance market problems, buyers, business processes, and solutions
  • Successful Project Leadership in a highly matrixed organization to create collaboration & be a multiplier
  • Strong Customer presentation and marketing skills in a solution selling environment
  • Ability to perform Industry and competition research
  • Salesforce Financial Services product & multi-cloud experience
  • Innovative & curious about how technology can solve business challenges

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $181,510 to $242,830.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $181,510 to $242,830.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
