Interior Designer / 5+ yrs req in Residential Design

We are looking for an enthusiastic interior designer with a minimum of 5 years experience who will work collaboratively with Senior Designer and Principal to achieve project goals, develop conceptual designs within approved budgets, and see long term design projects with high end clients from conception to project close-out. Candidate must possess excellent time management skills and work efficiently to meet deadlines and must have a strong initiative and ownership of work and tasks delegated. Ability to work in a team as well as independently while coordinating tasks and deliverables on multiple projects simultaneously is essential.

The interior designer will offer administrative and design support such as specifications, facilitating furniture layouts, coordinating pricing, order placement and tracking, assisting with design presentation preparations, maintaining the design library and overall studio organization

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
• Experience with Studio Designer software.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in residential design with a focus on high end projects.
• Hands-on experience and understanding of the design and construction of interior architecture spaces.
• A background and knowledge of luxury residential, kitchen and bath standards and products.
• Execution and knowledge of working drawings and construction documents, custom millwork and furniture drawings and design.
• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Excel proficient. Photoshop and Studio Designer preferred.
• Strong presentation, articulate communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, detailed oriented skills and ability to work under time constraints and pressure.
• Car with valid driver license required.
