Benefits/Compensation
The salary range for this position is $130 - $150k. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton offers the opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) with matching.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic individual to drive world-class inventory and operations processes, streamline business operations, and support an efficient and compliant operations infrastructure.
This role is critical for enhancing our inventory and operations processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to streamline and optimize our business operations.
In this role, you will engage in the following:
  • Leadership in Operations/Inventory: Take a leadership role in all operations and inventory-related responsibilities.
  • Quarterly Physical Inventory: Lead and drive improvements in the Company’s Quarterly Physical Inventory count process to minimize variances and shorten completion time.
  • Inventory Cycle Counting: Spearhead the implementation of inventory cycle counting, leveraging industry best practices and technology (e.g., barcoding) to improve the accuracy of inventory records and reduce reliance on Physical Inventory counts.
  • Direct COGS Accuracy: Analyze and drive updates to improve the accuracy of Direct Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
  • Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Partner with the Senior Director of Operations to fine-tune the Company’s MRP system.
  • Cost Roll Process: Collaborate with Operations Leadership, Purchasing, and Accounting to document and standardize the Company’s Cost Roll process.
  • Infor Syteline Expertise: Become an expert in Infor Syteline (the Company’s ERP system) to drive improved accuracy and enhancements related to COGS and inventory.
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or the medical device
    industry preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, ensuring efficient operations and inventory management
  • Strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and use data to make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information, instructions, feedback, and recommendations clearly and effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve
    inventory-related issues
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Infor Syteline, and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
