Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory and ensuring that it is accurately tracked and reported. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, with experience in process improvement and financial analysis. Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels, including tracking and reporting on stock levels, inventory turnover, and other key performance indicators.
- Implement process improvements to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to identify opportunities for cost savings and improve delivery times.
- Develop and maintain inventory reports, including stock levels, usage, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
- Manage the shipping and receiving process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement category management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that inventory is properly stored and organized.
Skills:
- Proven experience in inventory management and control.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial analysis.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Experience with data collection and reporting.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and warehouse operations.
- Experience with sourcing and procurement.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
