Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Inventory Control Specialist. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. HOURS: 5:30AM - 2PM.

What you’ll do:
- The warehouse worker performs functions such as transporting, counting and preparing for shipments the materials necessary in servicing the plant’s requirements. This includes raw material, component parts and finished goods.
- Transactions are recorded and other record keeping duties are performed as required. Constant care must be taken to prevent injury to others. Warehouse workers construct crates and perform duties to fill export orders. All work areas are kept clean and safe.
- Backup to Inventory Lead, which includes creating cycle count tickets, making adjustments, checking inventory including pallets. Will have a lead role in the annual physical inventory process requiring full participation.
- Adhere to all facility safety guidelines and forklift driving guidelines, and encourage communication and participation of personnel to further identify and reduce/eliminate potential hazards. The warehouse worker will report any unsafe loads of material to the appropriate personnel prior to moving the load. The warehouse worker is responsible for keeping aisles clear and supplying and arranging work suitable for operators.
- Adhere to and support all facility environmental guidelines and procedures to identify additional pollution prevention projects to reduce waste and raw material consumption. The incumbent will also be responsible for organization and cleanliness of the work area, and will support and abide by all procedures set forth to assure product and process quality and plant manufacturing principles
Qualifications:
- Must be able and willing to be trained and licensed as a forklift operator
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a high school diploma/GED; however individuals who were hired prior to the requirement of a high school diploma/GED for entry level positions may still be eligible for consideration for this position.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Charlotte, NC area (50 miles) will be considered for this position
