What you will do!
As an IT Contract Analyst, you will provide vendor and contract management and administration for the agency's major outsourced systems through its primary vendor. This includes managing the vendor relationship, reviewing and coordinating change requests for this mission critical system. You will review and analyze contractor reports to ensure the contractor is meeting contractual requirements; review and approve proposed system fixes by vendor; work with executives and system users to ensure business needs are being supported; and work with executives, business owners, business users on prioritization of system enhancements with the terms and conditions of the contract with vendor.
Additionally, you will ensure system enhancement work is scheduled and prioritized by the vendors. Function as a trusted advisor to agency leadership regarding the system, providing consultation and recommendations to ensure business needs and priorities are being addressed.

What we are looking for:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and five years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

OR;

Any combination of experience and education equivalent to eight years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.

Working Conditions
This position involves frequent contact with executives, management, and staff both internal and external to the organization. It requires working with a variety of people and situations, which requires the incumbent to exercise diplomacy. Confidentiality of information must be always maintained. There can be frequent interruptions, demanding timeframes, and non-traditional working hours. While performing the duties of this job, you will be in an open landscape environment and may be exposed to the sounds and activity of those working around you. These conditions may be in high traffic areas with moderate to loud noises. Often travel to meetings is required with some travel to trainings and conferences within the state and outside of the state. The location of this position is in an office, cubicle and/or an agreed upon remote work environment with significant use of a computer and video conferencing.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Successful candidates will have recent experience in one or more of the following within the last 10 years.
  • Experience with large IT Contract Management and Administration (greater than 10M)
  • Large IT Project Contract Management (greater than 10M) experience utilizing system integrators; internal and external resources; QA partners; and various oversight groups
  • Experience overseeing and administering large IT Professional Services Contracts (greater than 10M) for infrastructure support; application support; software development; and/or maintenance and operations
