K-3 Math Tutor

As a Math Tutor, your crucial role will impact the lives of many children and offer vital assistance to those who need extra help in understanding math concepts. You will immerse yourself in a local school to support students in grades kindergarten through third- grade. You'll help them succeed by providing extra practice and skill-building in groups of 2 – 3 . With training and on-site coaching, you'll be prepared to empower students in their math journey. Your commitment during school hours throughout the academic year guarantees a significant impact.

Member Duties : How You’ll Take Action Be a caring adult who’s focused on helping students build their skills and confidence. Track student progress and regularly meet with the school’s on-site coach. Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software. Commit to your own growth as a tutor through coaching, training, and professional development. Represent Math Corps at school events and share your experience with the community to raise awareness.
